The target of this laser is the melanin contained at the root of the hair follicles when they are in the growing phase of the cycle. Because melanin is the target pigment, light colored hair (blonde, red hair) which contain much less melanin than dark hairs, show less than optimal results to treatment.

Because the hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments will be necessary. The interval between sections will vary depending on the part of the body being treated
